When a Diagnosis Isn't Enough —
Understanding What's Underneath and How We Can Help

This page is for people who are curious and have time and capacity to explore. If you're exhausted and just need help, don't read this → Book a free 15 minute consultation now

You jumped through hoops. You got the diagnosis that you felt would make all the difference. It feels like validation. And yet, the supports your child need are still not available or, even with all the supports and following as many of the recommended strategies as you can manage, your child still struggles and there is little to no real relief.

If you arrived here looking for how to help your child with a diagnosis (anxiety, learning disabilities, or any other label) — or if you were directed here from a page about sensitivity, big emotions, escalating behaviours, or school refusal — this page explains why the diagnosis or label alone didn't work, and what actually does.

For Recurring Physical Symptoms

You might believe your child just gets sick and that this is purely physical. But this work understands that everything is information. According to Esogetic Medicine, when we can't process our emotions or conflicts, then our body has to do it for us. Unresolved family patterns get encoded in the nervous system across generations. This isn't about blame — it's about understanding what's happening so we can clear it.

So much is laid down preverbally, that we need non-verbal methods to say "no thank you, I don't need to carry this anymore".

If you're not ready to make that leap yet, I understand. RestoreChi offers healing tracks to reduce symptoms and strengthen the organs, which buys us time for you to get there.

Unique Psychology, Divine Healing, and the Information Field are geared at increasing understanding, which can reduce further accumulation of chaos (by making more informed parenting and environment choices). But they can't clear what was laid down preverbally.

To break the cycle of repeated illness, your child's nervous system needs to feel safe again. This doesn't mean the parent did anything wrong. It means unprocessed family patterns created a nervous system that's working overtime. We can help it relax. A Kirlian photo shows us what is stuck and Esogetic Medicine clears using the language the body (light, photons, brainwaves, vibration, geometry).

Start where you feel ready, where you think you will get the most relief. The other options will always be there when you want something more.

Why Working with Kids is Different

When working with kids, we are always working with the family unit

...not just the child in isolation. A child is still developing, which means expectations change as they get older. We are trying to get them to a place where they can learn how to function in society with their unique sensitivities, limits, needs, and gifts intact.

Adults tend to enter into my services alone

...having already figured out how to navigate society, but wanting to claim parts of themselves they may have lost along the way. The urgency and support system that naturally exist for a child are less present when an adult comes alone — which is why the work looks different, even though the tools are the same.

With children we can address the parent-to-child generational transmission

What is unresolved in the parent lives in the child. This isn't blame. It's how family systems work. When a parent carries unprocessed stress, the child's nervous system picks it up. Healing the parent reduces the load the child carries.

A child that struggles is raising a flag that their family needs help, something doesn't feel safe. It may have started in utero. It may have started with your own childhood. And when you heal your part (even if it is something in your uterus that your child no longer lives in), your child's system relaxes too (because they rely on your health for their survival). You can release both of you from the burden your family has been carrying for generations.

Why Diagnosis Alone Isn't Enough

A diagnosis names the pattern. It does not explain the cause, which is different for each person. Without understanding the cause, we can only manage the symptom, not resolve it.

When your child was diagnosed, the system gave you a label. That label opened doors to accommodations and sometimes medication. But the label didn't explain why your child has ADHD or how to make things better.

Your child isn't asking for a label. They're asking to be understood. They're asking for their body to feel safe. They're asking for someone to help them figure out how to be themselves in a world that doesn't naturally fit them.

A diagnosis can't do that. A label can't do that. Understanding, reconnecting, helping them process and let go can help them be themselves and heal.

What Your Child Really Needs

If you are looking for someone to get you what you feel you deserve because your child has a diagnosis, I am not the right fit. I understand that you are exhausted. You did everything you thought you were supposed to do. You jumped through all the hoops to advocate for your child. This is why I am trying to offer you something different.

An opportunity to finally understand what you have always been able to sense — that your child is asking for something more than management, medication, or accommodation. They're asking for someone to see them, understand them, and help them heal.

The difference between two approaches looks like this:

Approach 1:

"I have a diagnosis. This is what my child is entitled to."

Approach 2:

"I may have a diagnosis, but I want to understand what is really going on. What does my child actually need? How can I help them heal? If we take a break from something so they can heal, how will we know when they are ready to try again?"

Both are understandable. But only Approach 2 is going to make a big difference in all aspects of your child's life.

Why Early Support Matters More Than the Label

Understanding and supporting your child from the start reduces the likelihood that things will escalate beyond what you can redirect, control, or contain. School staff, and anyone who cares for your child, need to know how to support and what triggers your child, so they don't make things worse.

A small child having a destructive meltdown can be carried out of the room so they can reset. A larger, stronger child cannot.

Kids need to know they exist in an environment that is trying to understand them — not just trying to override them.

The goal is to help a child use how they feel to guide them to what is right for them, and to have a family that knows how to hold space and support them as they go through this process. So they don't have to wait until they are older, and hope that they find something like what I have to offer, so they can finally heal and then figure it out.

Understand, See, Heal

The goal of this work is to help people feel better and more capable.

Understanding comes first. When we understand a person's Unique Psychology, we understand why they behave and react the way they do, and we don't need to make it wrong on take it personally.

That said, understanding isn't enough, because we need change, and this is where healing comes in.

The person doesn't just have a unique way that they need to operate well in life, they also have difficulty processing information, inside, outside, from the past, present, and future. Taking a look at their inside Felt Safety (via Kirlian photography) we can see what is getting in the way so we can remove it.

This also gives evidence to the school, the grandparents, the skeptical partner, that this child is struggling and we are doing the best we can to make things easier.

What we see isn't subjective, it's not based on how your child performed on test days, or someone's opinion, it is simply what is flowing through them and what is stuck. One of the reasons I steer away from diagnosis is because there is no wiggle room, just a line that you have to cross to qualify and if you don't, no help is provided, even though seeking diagnosis already means help is needed.

This changes the conversation from "why won't your child just behave?" to "I can see what's happening how can I help?"

Esogetic Medicine, RestoreChi, the Information Field, and sometimes Divine Healing — help us clear the chaos and garbage that is stuck and add resources that are needed. Once we see what is really going on, and there is a plan to make things better, compassion and safe spaces for your child to heal and grow come more easily.

Four Pathways

Once you understand that you have a sensitive child — whether they have a diagnosis or not — you have options for how deep you want to go and what level of support you need.

Pathway 1: Unique Psychology (Understanding)

This is about knowing how your child is built. Their learning style, emotional wiring, how they need to eat and sleep and make decisions, what depletes them, what gives them energy. Understanding their Unique Psychology means you can make choices that respect how they're designed, not fight against it.

What it looks like:

What it requires:

Time, mental capacity, and openness to learn the frameworks.

What it accomplishes:

You stop blaming yourself and your child. You make better choices. For many families, understanding alone creates the shift they've been looking for.

What it doesn't do:

It doesn't address what's stuck in their body. It doesn't clear what's unprocessed. It doesn't heal early trauma. You see the original design, not what living so far has done to them, which is what is blocking them from doing better.

Pathway 2: Felt Safety Alone (Clearing with or without Seeing)

This is about looking at what is going on in your child's system (using Kirlian photography) and clearing it with Esogetic Medicine. We're not guessing anymore. We can see the why behind the what and we have several things we can try in order to clear it. We don't need to explain anything to your child, we can see if it works (by taking another photo) and you can observe how their approach to life begins to change.

What it looks like:

  • If you are able to come in person and your child is able to do what is needed in order for us to take a Kirlian photography then we can see why they struggle and what they need, but sometimes we know how the child is struggling and we just want to help them feel better without needing them to take a photo, and this is ok, if it works, and if it doesn't, then we have an added incentive to try to see that photo (which shows things we can't know by just the symptom profile alone - and by symptom profile I am including things like difficulty with peers or when plans fall through, which is territorial/relationship stuff)

  • My daughter's initial Esogetic Treatment (combined with Divine Healing) was done remotely, and she benefited, but I needed healing for myself too, so Pathway 4 is a better fit for me (that doesn't mean this is what everyone will need (at least not at first) to get the relief they are looking for
  • Excluding Unique Psychology means we get the child feeling better fast, and the parent doesn't have to worry about do they believe that we can have a pre-determined life plan and way to operate in this world that we can look up, nor do they have to worry about asking others to follow what it says (this makes this a more low bar ask, just help your kids feel better and be more capable of things they are currently struggling with)
  • Getting Your Child Ready for School (while I used Pathway 4 to get here, it can be done with just Pathway 2 or 3, especially if we are able to see their Kirlian Photo)

What it requires:

Time, in-person or the ability to purchase equipment and apply treatment (instructions and guidance provided), ability to hold space for reactions to treatment, and communicate what happened (without blame, it's just information), so we know what to do next.

What it accomplishes:

Clearing what is stuck (and not yours) so the person can have an easier life (more joy, resilience, options).Children tend to respond faster to treatment than adults.

What it doesn't do:

Give you the rules or a map to follow for your life. Instead it connects you to follow the guidance you receive day to day, moment to moment, including knowing when you are knocked off center and need more treatment to restore your connection and balance.

Pathway 3: Unique Psychology + Felt Safety (Understanding and Healing)

This blend allows you to understand how your child is built AND see and clear what's in their way. It is not what I recommend for everyone because when time, energy, money, and mental capacity are limited take Pathway 2 if you can come for in person sessions. Pathway 3 may be more for people who have the time, energy, money to learn, or who are not local and want to start with something they can do online first.

What it looks like:

  • A balance of online and in-person sessions (for understanding and treatment)

  • Getting Your Child Ready for School (while I used Pathway 4 to get here, it can be done with just Pathway 2 or 3, especially if we are able to see their Kirlian Photo)

What it requires:

Time, commitment, willingness to show up (especially in person or to purchase equipment and apply treatment with instructions and support). Willingness to find the words to express to others what helps your child thrive (and what is more difficult for them to cope with), which can be a part of healing where you have been trained not to make waves.

What it accomplishes:

Your child not only feels better and can do more, they understand themselves better too, and you understand them. With this added understanding less chaos collects, so they get knocked out of their center less often, and they know how to advocate for their needs. Unlike when we only know their Unique Psychology, which allows us to choose environments that are better for them, when we clear the garbage, they become resilient enough to handle situations that may be less ideal for them (like the 26 to 1 teacher to student ratio at school).

What it doesn't do:

It doesn't give the parents an opportunity to heal, which means there can be a disconnect between the child's missing to heal their parents, and the child gaining freedom not to carry their parents' burden. There are some treatments that can not be done on a child because they need their connection to their parents to survive living with them (while this sounds extreme, because I know no one would be looking for this work if they didn't want to do everything they can to help their child, sometimes it takes time to put our own healing in the mix, and that's ok, we can just focus on your child until you are ready, even if that is never, but my guess is, if you see your child being more free, you might like that for yourself too, if you can afford it, and I slide the scale if you can't.

Pathway 4: The Complete Framework (Understanding + Healing The Family)

This is when you're ready to look at everything: your child, yourself, your family patterns, and what's unresolved that your child is carrying. This isn't blame. It's how family systems work. A child who feels safe is one whose parents feel safe. Taking some of the healing on yourself keeps you connected to your child and it means they have less to take on when they grow up.

The complete framework means we work together — understanding your child, clearing what's in their body, AND looking at what you're carrying and healing your part so your child doesn't have to carry it.

What it looks like:

What it requires:

Courage. Willingness to look at yourself and your family patterns in order to apply or receive treatment in order to heal. Maybe applying treatment on your co-parent or child. Time and seeing enough value to invest.

What it accomplishes:

Your child heals. You heal. Your family has more fun and is able to make more progress, seeing the challenges that you face as just part of your life lessons that you are capable of figuring out how to work through together. You get to see and become who you are meant to be.

What it doesn't do:

Unnecessary, impossible struggle (where we never see any options to get out of it) will be removed, but a series of regular day to day struggle remain, in order to help us grow. And we will still have negative feelings and emotions because they are information about what is needed (be it changes to the way we are doing things or organs that need more support)

All pathways might include optional tools as needed:

→ RestoreChi — clearing garbage and strengthening organs

→ Divine Healing — working with your subconscious, requires openness to spiritual concepts

→ The Information Field — understanding and sending a healing impulse to situations beyond your control

How Everything Fits Together

Unique Psychology (Human Design, Gene Keys, Soul Contract, natal Astrology, and Esogetic Numerology)

Similar to the blueprint that tells you how a house is designed to function, what each room is for, and how it is meant to be lived in.

Felt Safety (Kirlian Photography, Esogetic Medicine, RestoreChi, Divine Healing, and the Information Field)

Is like seeing and fixing what's broken. You can have the best blueprint, but if things break, the house won't function properly, no matter how much try to understand and adhere to the original blueprint.

Family / Parent Healing

Building a house on less than ideal ground can cause the house to get damaged too. Trying to fix the house without addressing the foundation isn't a permanent fix. Anything left unresolved in the soil contributes to the development of the child's life (and this follows them into their adulthood, until they find a way to heal it, which often requires the exact techniques that you have access to now).

The complete framework addresses all three. But the elephant can only be eaten one bite at a time.

Choosing Your Pathway

If your pathway isn't obvious and you feel like you need to know what pathway you are on before you start (as many people start with one thing and then go as far as they are willing to go over time), you can use this as a guideline:

Choose Pathway 1 (Understanding alone) if:

  • Your child has been labeled sensitive or difficult but there's no diagnosis

  • You want to understand their design and make choices that fit them

  • You don't have access to in-person work

  • You want to start here and see if understanding alone creates the shift you need

You might move to Pathway 2 or 3 (incorporating Felt Safety) if:

  • Understanding isn't creating the shift you hoped for

  • Your child's struggles seem deeper than strategies can reach

  • You sense something unprocessed in their body

  • You know there was prenatal/birth stress or difficult family patterns

Choose Pathway 2 (Felt Safety alone) if:

  • Your child is struggling and it is not a time to explain, you just want them to feel better and be more capable

  • You are open to seeing what their body needs and addressing it

  • We can do this with me explaining why or not (depending on if you need and can handle the intellectual portion)

  • You have access to in-person work or the means to purchase equipment and apply treatment yourself

Choose Pathway 3 (Understanding + Felt Safety) if:

  • You want understanding AND healing

  • You want a blend on in person sessions with your child and some sessions just to help you understand better

  • You want to start doing things differently so that less chaos/garbage accumulates

Choose Pathway 4 (Complete Framework) if:

  • Your child's struggles are complex (serious diagnoses, difficult family dynamins, escalating behaviour)

  • You recognize repeating family patterns

  • You know something in you is affecting your child

  • You're ready to take on your part in generational healing

  • You know you need to heal too

Application in Context

There's an important distinction to understand about environment and resilience:

For Daycare:

We choose an environment that matches your child's Unique Psychology. A sensitive child in the wrong daycare will struggle. A sensitive child in a daycare that understands their design can thrive. The solution is environment fit.

For School:

We build your child's resilience using Felt Safety so they can handle whatever environment school provides. School is less under your control. You can't choose the classroom composition or the teacher's style the way you can choose a daycare. So we work on internal resilience — helping your child feel safe in their body so they can navigate a system that may not be perfectly fitted to them.

This is the difference between Pathway 1 (choosing an environment that fits) and Pathways 2-4 (building resilience to handle any new environments).

When you allow a sensitive person to heal and keep their sensitivity, they can navigate the world and share their unique perspective.
