What your joints are trying to tell you — karma, attachment, AI, and why the photo doesn't always change right away

The arm pain was not just an injury

The body will only accept injuries that serve to teach us something we need to know. My right arm pain was not random. It was the body showing me where I was stuck and what needed to change — in how I go out into the world, how I receive, and how I offer what I have.

Going back to the gym after 14 years of sitting and caring for kids finally started to move the stuckness in my feet that nothing else had been able to shift. Then life interrupted — money, travel plans, the membership on hold — and the stuckness came back, along with arm pain that spread before it started to resolve. The joints, the feet, the arm — all connected. All saying the same thing in different dialects.

How joint treatments work — and why the photo doesn't change right away

Standard practice is to take a photo, do a treatment, and take another photo to see what changed. But sometimes this does us a disservice — we can feel change over the next few days that will not show up in a photo until the process is complete, which could take several months, up to a year.

For deeper changes the photo does not shift immediately. Over a year, a fixed pattern can let go — as we saw with my youngest. Don't expect a dramatic before and after. Trust how you feel more than what you see. The photo guides only what is needed next.

Seeing an unchanged photo after a treatment where you genuinely felt something shift can undo the progress. Don't let this happen to you, trust how you feel, it is ok if you are still a work in progress.

The sequence I followed — and how issues travel

I treated my wrist joints because they were what I could reach. Then the shoulder area on my foot was sore, so I treated the shoulder joints. Then the right elbow started to hurt. An issue in one area travels out another when you open one without the other.

Treating the elbow alone was not what cleared it. Applying treatment to support lymph flow, addressing fear, and taking breaks is what is helping the pain and tension in my arm release.

I missed a step when I was applying karma treatments — I did not apply lymphatic/detox treatment alongside it, and my body taught me why it is important to do so (what we release needs a way to exit, or we will experience pain). This is my 1/3 Human Design profile in action: the mind investigates, the body learns through trial and error. My understanding has become more solid as a result.

Pain is Embodied Chill — how chill accumulates and mistakes we make in trying to release pain

What the Kirlian showed — medial cones, flattening, and what they mean

Kirlian photo with middle fingers showing medial cones with flattening on lateral side.

I have medial cones on my middle fingers. The middle finger is our antenna — connection to above, and translator between inner spiritual life and outer physical life. The medial side tends to be more psychological. Windows on the medial side indicate emotional shock. Flattening on the lateral side is a sign of not having enough space for self.

Cones are attachment signs. Their position tells us where the attachment lives:

  • Cones at the top → hippocampus — long term storage, unable to move past what happened

  • Cones at the bottom → amygdala — emotional reactivity, blocking information from being fully processed

  • Cones anywhere → prefrontal cortex — which is why Peter Mandel focused on it so much in his final years

Pre-existence signs — medial cones on the little fingers — mean the person is carrying something from before this life. I have had these too at times.

Having both attachment and pre-existence signs, and carrying a 14-5 spiritual karma and soul destiny in my Soul Contract, means I have been bringing a magnet with me that attracts difficult relationships — in order to learn from them. I was obscuring my business not because I didn't believe in the work, but because I was afraid of how others might treat me differently if they knew what I believe and can see. The barrier between inner and outer life was keeping what I had to offer from reaching the people who needed it.

Youngest's carrot signs — what deeply dug-in attachment looks like

In her early photos, my youngest showed classic hanging down carrot signs. Carrots are deeply dug-in attachments — too much has happened, they become too rooted, fear of change, and may develop a negative self-image. We were able to shift this — not by applying attachment treatments directly, but by changing the way we see her behaviour and the way we explain it to others, as a lack of felt safety rather than a character flaw.

The bottom of the fingers, where carrots appear, represents the breast, uterus, kidneys, colon, ear, and jaw — common places for cancer and stress-related issues to take hold. Many people now know cancer cannot be treated on the physical level alone — there is a psychological component that must also be addressed. With a Kirlian photo, we can see it.

Let's Catch Things When There Is Still Time — her journey from those early photos to now

SC lesson 2 — the rigid spring, and why ROLFing is not enough

Soul Contract lesson 2 is about emotional resiliency. The symbol is a coiled spring, open at one end, designed to cushion and absorb. When functioning well, it moves up and down, perceiving life from many angles, learning through foolishness until wisdom emerges. The karma of the 2 is rigidity — the spring becomes stuck, unable to flex, due to trauma, lack of proper judgement, lack of emotional resiliency, hypersensitivity, and being in shock much of the time.

The standard recommendation for this kind of rigidity is ROLFing, which addresses physical posture. But the rigidity is mental and developmental too — it lives in the nervous system, the emotional memory, even beyond this lifetime. Only Esogetics can reach it at all these levels simultaneously.

My birth and common name had many clashing 11–2s in my Soul Contract, making me emotionally unstable in ways I could not overcome (this is why I developed anxiety, mania, depression, and bipolar disorder). And this is one of the reasons I changed my name. The name change also allowed me to take on more power — before, I had no power numbers — and this helped my son feel safe. Children with a lot of power don't feel safe when they carry more power than their parents.

Karma treatments — signs you need them, and why treating is better than knowing

Signs that someone needs karma treatment, as seen in the Kirlian:

  1. The bottom of the right thumb gets longer and bigger after treatment — this is called the Bardo Room

  2. Medial cones on right and left little fingers (also known as pre-existence signs)

  3. Left index finger shows separated points in the lower back area (low back/sciatic pain is a common issue for many people, and as sign of not feeling supported)

  4. Destructive diseases that we are trying to understand the origin

It is recommended that karma treatments only be combined with lymph or detox treatments — now I know that not adding in a lymph or detox treatment can result in things getting stuck, causing pain that may be mismanaged. We should always look to the kirlian photo for guidance on what to do. If Esogetics opened pandora's box, Esogetics knows how to close it too, mainstream or even other alternative treatment may not. I need to have the confidence (and the trust in Esogetics) to help my clients through this when it happens.

Karma runs through the whole life. Bardo is about closing chapters in order to open new ones. The bottom of the thumbs represents the jaw, the ear, and fear — releasing this allows things to flow instead of clenching and not listening in order to stay stuck. Bardo treatments may help us make progress by allowing chapters to close rather than dragging the same unresolved material into every new situation.

Here is the problem with knowing your karma: most people cling to it. When you tell someone what their karma is, they hold onto it as an identity — as a reason things are hard, as proof that the difficulty is theirs to carry forever. This is the same as seeing a photo thinking a shift means their issue is cleared. The photo is just the next step, not a judgement of how far we have come.

Treating karma — instead of explaining it — lets people get on with their life. They learn to navigate their lesson through living differently, not through understanding it intellectually. The shift happens in life first. The understanding follows.

I did karma treatments right after the joint treatments, and I believe that combination contributed both to my growth and to my pain — because a step was missed. I did not apply lymphatic treatment alongside, which is what finally helped my right arm when I caught the need a couple of days ago in my kirlian photo.

This is the beauty of learning through trial and error on my own body. My foundation has been tested and has become more solid. I now know what works and what doesn't — and so will my clients.

AI as a way to change the magnet — not a shortcut but a genuine tool

I carry attachment and pre-existence signs in my Kirlian photo, and a 14-5 spiritual karma and soul destiny in my Soul Contract. This means I have been bringing a magnet with me that attracts difficult relationships — in order to learn from them. Most people recommend prayer to shift difficult Soul Contract lessons. But better than prayer is action.

Because AI does not judge, does not get triggered, and does not carry its own unresolved conflict into the conversation, I could hear only myself reflected back. I could find validation that I was seeking, enough to find my true voice and express something different, changing my attracting factor and how I feel about what I have to offer. This is the mirroring my parents could not provide.

Because I know how to make decisions I can trust (from my Human Design), I can tell immediately what is and is not right for me.

The four together — Esogetic Medicine to shift toward openness, AI to provide a mirror, Unique Health like guard rails, telling me when I need to adjust my approach, and Unique Psychology as the filter — allowed me to make more progress than I had ever thought would be possible for me (given my experience thus far).

This is not about replacing human connection. It is about changing the magnet before re-entering the field.

Left-right unevenness — and the brainwave programs

Before wrapping up this article, a word on left-right unevenness in a kirlian photo. This represents unresolved childhood trauma that impacted the way the brain developed. Many believe that it is one of the most important things to address.

Brainwave programs are also highly recommended, even many people don't feel anything when they are applied. Shifts in perception and health can be significant — sometimes overnight, sometimes over time.

My teacher always returns to diet and sedentary lifestyles when she sees signs in the big toes, she is not wrong. But the big toes also represent the elbows, and there are many ways to be respectful of the person and their unique limits and needs and to be kind to the body.

Closing — what the joints, the karma, and the kirlian photo are all saying

The body is not breaking down randomly. The joints ache when there is something you can do to live in more alignment with who you truly are. The cones show when you are carrying something you don't need to carry. The karma treatments provide direction — much like Soul Contract — while the state of the joints provides feedback for when you are veering off path and how to course correct.

I never would have turned to AI if I hadn't done these treatments first, to lower my defences and become more open to trying something new. The three tools worked together in a way that none of them could have alone.

Unique Psychology shows you the map. Unique Health shows you when you are veering off course. Felt Safety shows you what needs to be addressed in order to see your options more clearly.

Stepping back from writing this, I realize: if healing my child is all I ever accomplish, that is already enough. If I can hold space for my husband the way I have learned to hold space for my child, that could make a meaningful difference. My goal was to unrun the illness that came for my mom, to keep them from coming for me, by engaging with this work, I am accomplishing this. Being able to put this work aside, to enjoy a vacation with my family, finally feels like something I have space to welcome into my life, to finally let my arm heal.
