Navigating Self-Harm
Self-harm is a tough topic, and the general public seems to be confused on what it is and what to do about it.

If your child/youth is engaging in self-harm, they need another method to understand their life experience. They need to see the light at the end of the tunnel. And they need a way to run the pain out of their body without hurting themselves.

A lot of practitioners and lay people will say "the person is just trying to get attention". If they are, celebrate that. The child/youth who is trying to get attention is the child/youth that you can help.
What is much more scary is the child/youth who has completely given up on sending out signs that they need help and will quietly make attempts on their life.
This is a topic I know intimately and I know how to get someone out of this state as well.
You need to be able to explain where their current experience is coming from, so they feel heard, and you need to show them how to transmute their experience and pain into a gift to give back to the world, so they can understand and feel good about what they have accomplished.
None of us come here to suffer. We come here to gain experience. Once we have the visceral experience of what it is like to suffer, we learn how to transform this suffering into a gift, and then we can show others the way out.

Energy Awareness is the specific modality that I have created, through a collaborative effort, to support anyone who is engaging in self-harm, to move the negative emotions/pain out of their body and use more supportive/healthy coping strategies instead. Go here to learn more!
